Neurodevelopmental disorders in the Netherlands
Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), both syndromic and nonsyndromic, cover a range of conditions including intellectual disability and autistic spectrum disorders which are often comorbid with epilepsy. The incidence of NDDs in the Dutch population is estimated to be 0.7% for intellectual disability and range from 0.1-1% for autistic spectrum disorders.
There are many clinical and fundamental science research groups working on an array of neurodevelopmental disorders in the Netherlands. |
